This past month seven members of our BEMS staff completed Autism Awareness Training through a grant from the American Trauma Society/ PA Division . This training and grant allows the organization to receive equipment and support for care on the ambulance provided to any member of the community with Autism or Sensory Disorder issues. We will also be taking part in a research project with this initiative. Congratulations to all of our staff members who completed the training and a special recognition in their commitment to serve with the highest level of caring and compassion.
